And what better backdrop for the beautiful Jewish traditions they were about to honour?
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Devorah & Peretz were all about blending beauty with meaning. There was a peaceful serenity about the lakeside setting, but the energy from their friends and family added a fun, lively vibe that made the whole day unforgettable. Their bridal party was hyped and ready to party.

The Ceremony: Timeless Traditions with a Magical Twist

One of the highlights of this wedding was the way Devorah & Peretz honored Jewish traditions, like the Ketubah signing, the Khabalat Panim (welcoming the bride), and the Bedeken (veiling ceremony). Each part of the day was filled with emotion, meaning, and lots of happy tears. The night ceremony, held by the lake under the stars, was an absolute showstopper. It’s rare to see such a breathtaking combination of tradition and nature—and it’s moments like these that make me love being a wedding photographer. The reading of the seven blessings, singing the Ketubah, and the explosion of joy that followed the breaking of the glass. All made with a perfect combination of respect for tradition, love and community.

After the ceremony, the reception kicked off with an incredible party full of great music, tons of dancing, and non-stop energy. There’s always something special about Jewish weddings, and the mix of joyful music, traditions, and a close-knit group of friends and family made this reception a real celebration. There were so many fun and important moments to capture. Like the traditional first dance of the night, between Devorah and her mom. Or the lifting of Peretz on a chair— A must have in every jewish wedding celebration—
