Celebrating Compassion: Honouring Chabad Care Outstanding Volunteer Students
I had never heard of Chabad Care before. I am familiar with some of the Chabads in the city of Montreal, but I didn’t know this particular one. So when Rabi Shimon reached out to me, asking me if I could capture this special event for them, I was excited, as it was an opportunity to meet new people and establish new connections. What I didn’t know is how much the work they do would touch my heart. What can I say, i’m a sucker for good deeds.
Just outside downtown Montreal, amidst the bustling big city life, lies a community deeply rooted in compassion and selflessness. Recently, this spirit was palpable at a corporate event hosted by Montreal’s Chabad Care where the spotlight shone brightly on a group of extraordinary individuals – young student volunteers. These remarkable souls dedicate their free time to serving others, particularly the families of patients in hospitals. Their commitment to making a difference not only touches lives but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for us all.
Honoring Acts of Kindness: Awards Presentation
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the awards presentation, where the spotlight was rightfully cast upon these compassionate volunteers. As their names were called and their achievements lauded, it became abundantly clear just how kind and generous these young individuals are. Each award served as a testament to their unwavering commitment to serving others and making a positive impact in their community. I’ll be honest, I did have to fight back some tears as I was hearing testimonials from some of the people whose life was touched by the incredible acts of kindness from the members of this Chabad. Several heartfelt stories were being shared in a large screen, with beautiful background soft music and superior audio controlled by one of Montreal’s premier destination for event entertainment experiences, The Event Guy.
